NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD AT THE SEPTEMBER 15, 2022 HELENA PLANNING AND ZONING Commission MEETING REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THE NEW HELENA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Helena Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the Helena City Council Chambers at 816 Highway 52 East, Helena, AL 35080, a public hearing will be held.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments regarding the adoption of the new Helena Comprehensive Plan in accordance with Section 11-52-8 of the Code of Alabama (1975).

The citizens of Helena are urged to attend and participate in this meeting.  All written and oral comments will be considered.   A hard copy of the new Helena Comprehensive Plan may be available for inspection and review in the office of the Helena City Clerk during normal business hours from 8:00am – 5:00pm and may also be viewed and downloaded at www.HelenaComprehensivePlan.com.
